Club Dippy (Club Drippy’s Discotheque)
Art Direction, Visual Identity, Graphic Design

Brief:
Club Drippy’s Discotheque, a monthly queer DJ night, needed a modular flyer system that could evolve over time while maintaining a recognizable, unapologetic identity. The goal was to create visuals that matched the energy of the dance floor—bold, humorous, and proudly unfiltered—while standing out in crowded nightlife and social feeds.

Concept:
The identity was built around satirical, queer-coded cartoon characters—nostalgic figures reimagined within a gritty 1980s rave and punk-zine universe. Drawing from DIY club culture, underground flyers, and photocopied ephemera, the visuals embraced distortion, irreverence, and camp. Loud, flirtatious typography and exaggerated characters created a playful tension between humor and rebellion, celebrating queer nightlife without dilution.

Execution:
I designed a modular flyer series that allowed each event to feel fresh while preserving a cohesive visual language. The system combined halftone textures, distressed photocopy treatments, and flexible layouts optimized for both print and digital distribution. Each iteration introduced new characters or compositions, reinforcing the brand’s personality while supporting consistent promotion across platforms.
